A Glimpse into Sam's Day
Sam starts/begins/wakes up his day at seven. He quickly/briskly/slowly gets dressed and makes/eats/prepares a quick bite to eat. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is teaching history, which he enjoys/finds challenging.
During his break, Sam reads a book. When his workday is finished, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. In the evening, Sam has supper and relaxes with his family or friends. Before bed, he brushes his teeth. Finally, Sam falls asleep at around half past ten.

Susan Learns a Lesson
Sam was/had been/went a pretty careless/reckless/thoughtless kid. He often ignored/disregarded/failed to listen his/her/their parents' advice/instructions/warnings. One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Fortunately/By chance, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
A New Friend
Sam was feeling a little down. He wanted to have a new pal to play with. One here day, while he was exploring in the woods, he noticed something unusual. It was a little animal with glowing fur. Sam carefully walked over to the creature and said, "Hello! What's your title?" The creature grinned and replied Sam, "You can call me Lily!" And so, Sam made a new friend. They spent the rest of the day laughing together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be close buddies forever.
